Adding a Document, Image, or other File
You can upload documents, images, and other files to your personal folder. Other users can then go to your member folder and have access to these files.
To add an item, log in an go to your personal items area. (one way to get here is to click my folder on the menu under the tabs)
Once you are in your folder, click add new item, and then choose document, file, or image.
*Document: This will give you a form to fill out with a space for a body of text. This is the easiest way to put up a text document.
*File: Choose this if you would like to upload a file from yor computer. This can be a Word document, Excel spreadsheet, or any file that you wish to make available to other users.
*Image: Use this to put up images.
Once you make a selection, the appropriate form will show up. Fill out the form, and in the case of file and image, browse to the file on your computer, then click save when you are finished. Then click "state: visible", and choose publish to make it available to others.
From your contents tab, you can see all the items currently in your personal folder. To keep things organized, you can also make additional folders. See "Making Changes to Posted Content" to see how to move existing items into these new folders.
