• Get exposure to funding opportunities
• Learn about best practices in afterschool programming, such as:
  
  1. Creating a child friendly, text rich environment
  2. Developing lessons that are age and grade appropriate to engage your students in fun academic enrichment activities
  3. Connecting to fun online enrichment activities
• Obtain evaluation of your facility, program and staff
• Attend professional development sessions on classroom management, student support and instruction in math and reading, development of engaging academic enrichment activities and other trainings aimed at helping your staff deliver the highest quality programming
• Develop relationships with other afterschool program providers in the Pittsburgh area to share resources and best practices
• Receive data collection tools and support
• Learn how to develop positive relationships with your school partners and how to use those relationships to better serve your students
• Obtain support in applying for and offering Supplemental Education Services
• Learn about and receive support on the use of assessment to drive quality afterschool instruction
• Receive DPW Licensing assistance
• Participate in our Community Reading Corner program, including access to books, chairs and an award winning reading management software
• Engage parents in the education of their children
• Receive support in utilizing evidence based afterschool curriculum
